How does it work?
A court ruling in July 2006 stated that banks and credit card providers are
only allowed to charge a "reasonable amount" for banking charges. For
example
they ruled that banks may not charge in excess of £12 to send out a letter. As
you are probably aware most banks charge well in excess of this amount (up to
three times as much) simply for sending out a letter. Due to the new Court
ruling you are now able to claim from your bank the difference between the £12
limit and what you were actually charged. These claims can be backdated
for up to 6 years and interest is also payable by the bank from the date
of each debit.
Our customers are claiming back over £2000 on average.
Although the process of making a claim should in theory be a simple one the
banks are making as difficult as possible -
that's where we can help.
We have extensive experience in dealing with claims of this nature. Once we
have started to deal with your claim our staff will handle all the negotiations
on your behalf - corresponding with your bank directly - to make the process as
hassle free as possible.
We are so confident that we can claim
successfully on your behalf that we will
not charge you unless your claim is successful. If so we will charge 20% plus
VAT of the total amount you receive.
